Would be a massive upgrade over the horrible Josh Matthews. Guys like Josh Matthews and Michael Cole are the bottom of the barrell when it comes to wrestling play by play guys.

Re: JIM ROSS: "ANTHEM HAS MADE SOME WISE DECISIONS EARLY IN THEIR TENURE"

Maybe it is just wishful thinking but it sounds to me like there might be something going on behind the scenes that might be a real "game changer". Now that does not mean it will be a success. I think it could involve Anthem having a few promotions in almost a NWA like situation from back in the day but all under one true ownership. Fact is WWE is trying to gobble up everything but the Empire er I mean Universe has some rebels ready to stand up to them.

Imagine if TNA, GWF and say 2-5 other promotions were trying to work together so all could be successful. I have said for awhile that WWE does not want anyone else getting a piece of the pie yet with more successful promotions the pie would be much larger and thus even with losing a piece of it to competition WWE would end up better off. Look how down the business was in early to mid 90's when it was pretty much just WWF with NWA/JCP/WCW just starting to get traction in the tv/cable market. Then once WCW and later ECW got going wrestling was HUGE. Every store you went into seemed to have wrestling shirts. Once WCW and ECW were out of play things started to slide down again. Hopefully we can get some healthy promotions to make things interesting again. Even if they just compete among themselves for #2 and leave WWE off in their own universe.

Beat me, if you can. Survive, if I let you!

Jim Ross is wise.

Anthem is making wise decisions.

Here's who needs to be brought in:

Commentary:

Mike Tennay, Don West, Chael Sonnen, Joey Styles or Jim Ross.

Free Agents:

Jeff Jarrett (On screen), PJ Black, Alberto Del Rio, Scott Steiner, Bully Ray. Like it or not TNA needs Legends. New talent can't draw like the more established talent.

Other possibilities that aren't contracted: Gangrel, Billy Gunn, Bob Holly, Raven, Lance Storm, Chris Masters.

Womens:

Angelina Love, Velvet Sky. (They draw). Or, Torrie Wilson.

I feel like a legend other than Gail Kim is needed to help boost the division. The only person I can think of that would fill this spot - that is a free-agent not contracted is Carlene Begnaud (Jazz).

Other on-air personalities: Karen Jarrett, James Mitchell, Jim Cornette.

As good as JR is, he is known as having an ego and I'm not sure thats what TNA needs at the minute. I'd be a lot happier if they brought back Tenay.

They do need to sign some names though and unfortunately theres not many on the market. Other than Del Rio and wade barrett I cant think of any.

What if Jim Ross was hired by TNA?

Instant upgrade on Mathews even though JR isn't at the peak of his powers. He's not the bellowing slobberknocker JR of old but he still puts the guys over which is the most important part. The difference between Ross and Mathews is the difference between someone who makes moments and someone who kills moments. Impact Wrestling need to get back to making moments because outside of the Hardys nothing feels special and a good commentator can make the good look great.

Re: JIM ROSS: "ANTHEM HAS MADE SOME WISE DECISIONS EARLY IN THEIR TENURE"

Just the addition of JR alone would make TNA be taken a little more seriously. It's probably going to take a while to turn things around, but its a step in the right direction. Hell, I would watch just for the fact that it isn't Michael Cole calling a wrestling match.

"I will say it because I am trying to quell the burning in my heart--I hate Vince Russo. I despise Vince Russo. I want Vince Russo to die. If I could figure out a way to murder him without going to prison, I would consider it the greatest accomplishment of my life." - Jim Cornette

"To be the man, you gotta beat the man" - Ric Flair

Thank you Bryan

Wise decisions?

Are they going to sacrifice Jarrett on live TV?
