Gonna DVR it. Should be interesting to see what they have to say. Just as long as nobody like Nancy Grace throws out all logic, reason, sanity, and reality. Congratz to TNA for the huge increase in ratings last week. Hopefully TNA can continue to produce, as they have been here before. They need to get their weekly average up to a 1.2 instead of .8-1.0. Every now and then like last week they will reach 1.3.
Can't wait to see what Bully Ray has to say. Hope EC3, Spud, Austin Aries, Mr Anderson, MVP, Eric Young, heck any combination would be good.
No worries on Nancy Disgrace as she's on CNN not Fox. I wonder if JBL helped make this happen even if just putting in a good word for them as he's tight with Fox. Plus it seems he gave his blessing to MVPs "wrestling god" comment.
Congrats TNA for getting some air time on FOX And Friends, the #1 morning news show in the US, should be great exposure for the TNA brand!
This type of promotion will be more common if TNA will stay out of Orlando and tour the major markets more often!
Opinions on that show and network aside, this is great publicity for the NYC tapings and TNA in general. Seems like ever since Slammiversary, TNA actually is giving a fuck to put on a decent product. Hope it continues on.
Good stuff, he's a charismatic guy that can put the word out there. Just a few weeks ago he said he wanted to improve TNA's brand recognition and isn't afraid of putting his free time into it. Go for it.
The charisma of Lashley was overwhelming EY is a marketable and entertaining guy everywhere he goes. Bully also did a good job and Velvet... did her job too. My advice to Lashley is for him to act like your typical 80's powerhouse heel, just long stares and breathing, no talk.
I think it's a bad selection of people. Nobody watching is really going to remember Bully from his WWE days or Lashley from his because they weren't big enough stars.
I would have gone with Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy (As himself, no Willow), Velvet Sky (Hot chicks draw money) and Lashley (Just because the champion has to be there)
Looks like a fun segment, hopefully it translates to ticket sales.
Hogan did more press than Bully Ray but rarely mentioned TNA because he was embarrassed to be affiliated with them. Hulk Hogan was getting an hour on the Howard Stern show and most local TV networks would give him 5-10 minutes. Dixie should have put her foot down at some point and said "You need to advertise TNA or you're in breach of contract and we'll sue" but she never did so Hulk was allowed to get away with casually mentioning TNA once and then talking about himself for the next 20 minutes.
