Re: Random Sig Tutorial.

I've always found my work to be very mediocre and this tutorial seems to be really helpful. Haven't tried out the steps personally, but here in a few I definitely plan on. Very solid tutorial and hopefully I come up with something decent at least.

Re: Random Sig Tutorial.

I was actually feeling the sig I made from this so much that I decided to add a few more pics of Kane into the background and use it as my actual sig. Thanks again for the sweet tutorial!

Re: Random Sig Tutorial.

Great tutorial. Thanks a lot for this, really helps out. My problem seems to come from Text. I have no idea where to get text that stands out as all the texts I've downloaded are quite honestly poor. Any ideas where I could get some great fonts that are able to stand out?

Re: Random Sig Tutorial.

Hmm. Maybe I just aint looking hard enough. Here's what I came up with anyway. Not happy with the text but thought the sig itself wasn't bad for a first attempt.

EDIT: This too.

What program are you using? Save your images as higher quality jpegs or png to avoid the grainyness.

Re: Random Sig Tutorial.

Photoshop CS3. I think I know what you mean. Saved this one in a higher resolution, hope it came out how you were talking about. My eyesight doesn't really see the grainyness so.... If that hasn't improved it, then I think the grainyness is from one of the textures I used. Who knows.

Re: Random Sig Tutorial.

You need to work on the text, its just sitting there. Try to work on color contrast. Red on red is not very appealing.

Re: Random Sig Tutorial.

I think this thread should be placed up with the rest of the stickies now that it seems to be picking up some steam again. Then others can post their own tutorials if they wish to do so.

Actually, it makes more sense to combine it with the Help & Resource Thread.

Not a bad idea, updating the resource thread out is on the to do list.

Although I might just leave this here and link it to the resource thread, same with any future tutorials. If that doesn't work, I'll combine the two.
