JamesCurtis24, I was thinking of doing the same thing until I read the rules over again. Seeing it's going to be a weekly thing, it makes sense to only include the ones you made this week. Not only that, it serves as an incentive for artists to fill in the available requests. I just hope JM can keep this going. Excited about it and it looks promising.

KingFunkel, not sure if these are requests that you filled in. Think you've to post only the requests you've completed not personal work etc.

Just read the first post again. I missed the whole "Fill out a request and submit" or whatever. I originally just read the rules

which didn't say it had to be a request.

JM - "no it has to be things you made this week."

We may need clarification.

Banners that have been made for Requests between the dates of Sept 24th and Sept 28th.

Not difficult to understand, nor should it need clarifying.

Ya I mean exactly what Tenacious.C. says, banners you made this week to fill requests here. To me this is giving you some kind of substantial reward for filling requests.

Made during this week is super key though, everyone has to work within the same time frame. Being allowed to post something you made a week, a month, a year whenever ago just wouldn't make sense.

This will allow us all to watch your progress as well as keep requests being filled in the GFX section.

Allthough I see this makes sense and the argument is sound, I disagree. What bothers me is that a request is fairly limiting. The pics to be used, size, colour theme and text are usually decided by the person who makes the request. I think people should get to post whatever they want, both requests and stuff they made to please themselves. I would like this contest to be a chance to get creative. Youre the boss though.

What do you guys think?

There's a challenge thread back in the days, SofaKing, which was meant for things like the ones you stated. Personal work that pleases you and whatnot. This one is different, it's all about requests that you fill in. Pretty much what JM said in last post. It makes the requests to be done by artists. It's just like an incentive for us.
