Like I did in this poster:

That's a badass poster. Smoke looks smooth/real, everything's blended superbly, text fits, colors pop. Very nice.

And yeah, I'll probably re-do that sig. I cleaned it up a little. I liked where I was going, but it just seemed cluttered. Just figuring out what to do for text. Here's the current version...

Re: GFX Ratings Thread

Just did this for Champ. Possibly the best banner I've ever done.

Thoughts?

Need some feedback please

I'm 100% sure that this is the right place to post this, so here goes.

I decided to give it a shot to signature/avatar making using Photoshop, and after a few tutorials that I have watched including the one Tenacious C. posted (thank you by the way ) I did a sig/avy set, but kept it pretty simple.

Re: GFX Ratings Thread

^ That's definitely pretty damn good if that's your first attempt in PS. My suggestions would be try messing around with the blending modes and adding a texture to it. Also, some text never hurts.

Also, what does everyone think of my new sig? Pretty simple, but I like!

Re: CM Punk Sig Request

I've already mentioned that I shun tutorials and experimentation is my preferred route, that being said, just by looking at Ten C's signature it was easy to figure out the basics of how to achieve that style. First quick attempt:

EDIT: 6 layers not including text and it doesn't take long at all.

Re: GFX Ratings Thread

Ya got me!

(My cruz sig had 23 layer inc text, lots of little layers/textures, changing in depth, colour)

I probably do too much than I should.

Then you add the lighten over the top.

Looks like I'm going to have to switch up my style again.
