Scrapped the stripes, saturated the Bret render a little more, removed the border, and added a light background texture.

Fuck yeah. This looks good.
Just blend the text as the glow around it kind of stands out from the rest of the pic but that's your best sig by far.

I got distracted by the text itself that I didn't realize it stood out.
I wanna start playing with more bold, contrasting colors and styles. Really just flip how I was used to doing things. Already getting an idea of what I want to do next.

^^^That stuff looks like the kind of photoshop material that was being produced 5-6 years ago lol. Assuming you're a beginner, you're off to a good start. Just gotta keep improving and updating your technique.
Well, I haven't made something in photoshop since Punk turned heel.... last July. I'm looking to get some comments and criticism on this wallpaper I just made for my new laptop.
