Are you talking about the flair one?

I absolutely love debris/shatter effects

Re: GFX Ratings Thread

I'm guessing Photoshop comes with a shit ton more text styles? I have GIMP but I use it sparingly for just school purposes every once in a while. The styles on there are rather bland with not much variation.

Dafont makes me feel like a kid in a candy store man, it's a beautiful place. The Font ID Forum on there is worth checking out on occasion, as well.

As for your work so far, and why no one's commented on it, I'll break it down, I know you're limited because you only have gimp.

But all you've done is put poor text, on a bad background, and added a cut onto it to make a sig. There's not a lot anyone can say about it.

So people probably aren't saying anything as to not offend you.
well ok

1001freefonts.com

there are others. I like to make my own fonts when I have the time.. when I don't I go to the big list o' other ppls stuffs.

To the guy using gimp. I've actually seen gimp artists that were better than a good deal of the ps artists I've known. They've all told me that it just seems to take a little bit longer to get completely used to. Sometimes gimp gives you a little lesser quality but there are ways to work around that. Just about everything you can do in photoshop you can do in gimp. Photoshop is much more idiot friendly doe. Gimp is freeware, freeware is always a little bit more work.

Re: GFX Ratings Thread

I've got Gimp, but I've really forgot the last time I actually opened it. I'd suggest you just try and get Photoshop. It's the best out there and probably what majority of artists use.
