Using a CS6 Trial and I can literally hear my computer holding on for dear life as I use lighting effects. I've stopped using lighting effects all together for the past few weeks. Your graphics card has to be up to par to handle lighting effects now, not to mention the 3D effects. Surprisingly my lap top handled Cs6 better once I did the on-line upgrade of my graphics card, it would freeze before.

Get rid of your dinosaur computers boys. I've got a cheap ass HP Pavilion and it's working fine.

It's not a dinosaur it's just been treated like shit, lol. It just needs a cleaning/tune-up. It's a fairly new computer, the lap top can handle CS6, so this computer should too. I have another computer that has CS3 full version, but it's all messed up, need to get it repaired.

Same, the fact I can keep a copy on my phone, my ipod, my camera sd card, and a usb stick to carry round and plug into any computer is awesome.

Seabs sorted me links to CS6 but it would take a month to download it due to slow links.

I see CHAMP and ASAP rocking sigs with broken glass effects, always a great/cool touch imo. Dub did something like that but somehow managed to apply it to a wrestler to make em look like they were shattering themselves, shit was nice.

You really want to try and get hold of photoshop, Gimp really doesn't compare.

As for your work so far, and why no one's commented on it, I'll break it down, I know you're limited because you only have gimp.

But all you've done is put poor text, on a bad background, and added a cut onto it to make a sig. There's not a lot anyone can say about it.

So people probably aren't saying anything as to not offend you.
