Yeah, I'm dling png's (and the background is white rather than psd-dreams' background, so that part worked I think), and I'm using photoshop, but I'll find/use another program if I need to.

Once you download it, find the folder it's in, right click the image and choose Send to > Adobe Photoshop CS whatever.

Are you copying and pasting it? If so, that's the problem.

how do you cut out person out on an image so it just person and no background using GIMP?

Dude, thx a lot. I might tinker some more at some pt (and my photoshop trial's running out

Gday, was just wondering what the exact color code for the background behind the avatars is? Wanting to make my avatar transparent. Cheers for any help.

I'd like to know too. This has bugged me for decades...

Whenever I've tried there is a this thin white f**king line down the right side of the avatar.

Have you tried making the avatar slightly smaller than the maximum dimensions? Also try putting a border around the transparent avatar in the largest allowable dimension but make it the colour of the forum background (C9C9C9).

I created my current avatar in Photoshop with a transparent background, re-sized it so it fits within the 125 x 125 non member limits and it seems to work okay. If I upload the large version without re-sizing it first, it is automatically re-sized and the background fills in white.

Edit: Changed my avatar again

Anyone got any renders of Kazuchika Okada in his rainmaker robe and or gimmick. Cant find any for some reason.
