So people have ranted on it. Others have given their opinion, some like it, some don't. Here's the formal introduction, I guess, so keep reading.

The GFX help team is a small group consisting of Skittles, EGame and yours truly. We're here for one reason, and that is to help whoever needs help with GFX related issues. Can't get PS working, something went wrong when saving a banner, help on using various techniques et cetera et cetera... these are all examples of what we're here to help you with.

Why a help team?
First of all, we've gotten a lot of fresh GFXers here lately. There's a help thread and a lot of experienced artists hanging around, but a lot of newcomers still need help getting their works to look better. The help team focuses on giving people DIRECT HELP when they need it, either by PM or by MSN. The help thread is a fairly generalized thread where anyone can answer and it might take a while to get help, the help team is available whenever logged on.

That's it, I guess. Questions and comments in this thread, haters and people wanting to complain saying it's a waste of resources, please go to BIEs thread in the rants section and vent there, there's no need to do it here as well.

So to synopsize: you need help, ask us! We're here for that very reason.

Just a quick note, as of preference I would suggest that if people need anything that they use the help thread or PM system. For me anyways, as I don't use MSN all that often.

Also: We are here to help you understand the concepts of graphics, not to tend to your graphic needs. Please don't contact us asking to make you graphics, make cuts, or any other sort of graphic 'requests'.

Just thought that should be emphasized.

This looks like it could be a step in the right direction for the GFX section, and if nothing else it's certainly not going to make it any worse.

but seriously you cant go wrong with getting help from 3 of the best GFX'ers on here imo.
