I may enter the league, I've never been too big on the whole graphic league thing though. But that pretty World Graphics Champion title would be nice to have in my sig. Joking of course

, but the titles would be nice to have back, they were rather stellar.

As for the show, it was probably my favorite 'creative' idea to happen to this forum, someone continue it.

As for the show, Bethany is coming back to graphics on the 20th, maybe just maybe she'll do it. Even if Es. continues his in June like he said he would, 2 shows certainly isn't a problem.

These are some good ideas. I think when summer comes people will have more time on their hands. I have exams currently so i have a PS ban on myself.

2 shows would be cool. One show could focus on tutorials. The other would focus on the forum in general. The Grapics show was a mixture of both. I'm continuing the Grapics show in June.

Plus the league could be apart of 1 of the graphic shows, for reports and hype and stuff.

Ok, another idea that's been brewing in my brain for a month at least. There's been a whole lot of thinking that has gone into this but I'm just going to sum it up w/ my conclusion and I'll state reasoning briefly.

The section should be reshuffled to have the showroom as the main forum and requests as a subforum. And now I'll answer all those why questions with my reasons.

~ Only a fraction of the forum is even able to make requests (premium members)
~ The section should be more for the artists and less for people that only enter the section every 6 weeks when it's time to make another banner request
~ Requests aren't being made nearly as much as they used to and they are being done by an artist less and less too
~ Ideally you'd hope that making the showroom the main forum the graphics being posted in the showroom will get more rates, something I would think artists would want.

That's pretty much my main reasons to suggest this, I'm probably forgetting some that I may think of as people comment to this. Basically my rational is thinking about making the section more for the artists, which I think it should be.

I know when I've brought this up in the past people have got the impression that I think the section should be all about the showroom, the league and the shop, which isn't the case (although I do believe those should be given the most precedence). Requests are important and are one of the rights given to those that chose to spend the money on a membership. I do feel however that there is no reason why requests can be made a subforum of the graphics showroom with the showroom (and maybe a combined showroom/battle area once the league gets a subforum) as the main forum.

Anyway, that's the idea. I'm more interested in what the mods have to say about it but anyone can comment of course, even if you think this idea makes me appear to be on crack.

Nah, that section is worthless.

Nobody in their right mind will **** a Wrestling Forum for a Graphics Tutorial section. They'll use superior resource sites like GT, PSDTuts or whatever the fuck. Everything that was posted there last time sucked, too (minus a couple things). Having a thread full of tutorial links is better than a section, but then again no thread or section is even better - nothing worse than seeing 50 sigs rocking the same technique they stole off PSDTuts (I'm aware of how much this happens already).

Shops can be used for requesting banners instead of hoping to get many people to make you a banner?

Well the shop wasn't really intended for that purpose, and I'm pretty sure it even says in the rules that requesting isn't allowed. Some people have just decided to add that to their shops and no one has really seen the need to disallow it or they haven't noticed. I don't really have a problem with requesting in shops if you like a certain artist and they are willing to do requests that way but I would rather it be done through PMs though (like how MR619 and Kibbi have a little message in their sig about it).

Again, requests don't need to be removed and shouldn't be I don't think, they just don't need to be the main forum.
