The section doesn't need mods at all, Thear and Xtyne are more than good enough for the section, taking either off becuase they are busy with lives atm would be an awful, just awful idea, and would hurt the section immensely.

As mentioned, modding would do nothing for this section, just another person to enforce the rules and close what little threads needs to be closed these days so it would be rather pointless. Again, it's commitment that is needed.

To be honest...the ONLY thing that the section needs at the moment is active members who are willing to actually put a bit of time and effort into their posting.

Im new to the section, but from being on other forums, i thnk its quite shocking to see people post there work and simply have some say "yeah its pretty good 7/10" just aint on.

I dont really see the point in starting up a league or anything of that nature when the amount of active users on here wouldnt support one.

I agree that there needs to be a much bigger focus on getting people to try stuff other than wrestling banners, it would make the section far more interesting and allows much more creativity from people.

^ Yes but what i think what some people want to happen is for the section itself to change to make it more enjoyable and willing to post, things that can be put in place that maybe only mods can do etc.

Meh if we are all that effected enough to post here then i guess we should be able to change it from this side then right !

I just wanted to say that the GFX section is why I use WF.
The people who have helped seriously helped me as a 'noob graphic designer' when I started, to something better (now)....Kibondo, Mr.619 just to name a few has made my time on here not only enjoyable, but also worthwhile. Thankyou.

To rejuvinate the GFX section, I think we should put aside the ideas of mods, and look at the basics.

1. We need more people on here (We've seen an influx of new members, me included) come over the last few months, but I think we can go bigger. To do this, we should actively encourage friends/family/other posters to give GFX'ing a shot.

2. Leave decent rates. There are so many people who simply write '7/10 - Looks good'. To be frank, those posts aren't even worth the bandwidth. From my personal experience, It is a lot more helpful for people to say what is good/ what is bad/ and what can be improved.
Some clearer guidelines about how to post in the Showroom would also be good.

3. More input in the shops. The shops are a really good idea, and allows everyone to post banners and make some money off it. However, I think we should also add a 'Marketplace'....A thread in which can post banners they are willing to trade, and then (either via PM or post) people can exchange banners among one another..without credits. This would be particularly good for those without massive amounts of credits, but also have good ideas/good banners.
Obviously, guidelines and rules would have to be layed out...but I think it would be a great way to share what GFXers are doing....

So that's my thoughts.
Once again, I want to say that I love the GFX section...and I'm looking forward to the next few months. I think we're going to grow!

I'm gonna help mod this section for a month or so while those 2 sort out what studies they have and will be back for the summer spamfest.

Any ideas at all, send me a PM; you wanna improve it? you wanna be committed? nows your chance, as long as your preparaed to do what you say you wanna do then great.

Also this league your talking about? talk to me plz.

Seems a lot of you have ideas for a league, put all your heads together, spoken to Kibby about a league and the dude seems very committed, doesn't matter to me who runs it or hows it's put together as long as it's run well and is kept going by committed members who want it to succeed and work; that's all that's asked tbf.
