Re: Let's get this darn section going again! Seriously! (All GFX posters look here)
Bring back the Tutorials section please. I miss it!
And I'm kinda sure it would attract newer members too.

The tutorial section was great for about a month when people were actually posting tutorials. After that, not so much. Having a tutorial section only works if there are people posting tutorials, obviously.

Well, one thing I have noticed is that battles lose any meaning unless people remember the scores. I think everyone who takes part in a battle should have a win/loss/draw record. That way battles would have more meaning as people try to improve their win/loss/draw record. Maybe even a sticky thread with the top ten winners? So every knows who the top GFX artists are?
Another thing I've noticed is how few replies new banner threads get. I guess people just don't have much to say about them or something. I dunno.
And yeah, doing something other than wrestling banners might inspire people. I like that idea.

People can still look back at old tutorials for reference so it's presence wouldn't hurt.

I sorta like that idea. Have some kind of leaderboard and the person with like best winning percentage in certain amount of battles could win some points or something.
Could also get a Run the Gauntlet going which goes well at that other place
I think the mods could be replaced tbh as well...you do not even have to have somebody that is awesome graphics maker. Just go with somebody who is going to get things organized and be an active member in the section. Thear and PX are great gfx makers and all but would not hurt to have a person who is more active and might be able to make a difference and not just be there because they are good. Not putting them down at all cause they do a good job at doing what needs to be done just need to freshen things up a bit.

That's actually kinda the basic principle of the league I have plans for. Obviously there is more to it than that but the the main concept revolves around that.
Rez: Yeah I guess, but when the tutorials section was removed it seemed to only be taking up space. Maybe people were lurking in the threads using them, hard to say.

Carl for re-mod tbf. lolol
All the committed guys got egos and either got banned or just fucked off. I don't see Thear and CX much atm, just probably busy with life, but for the activity the section has it practically needs no modding.
We need to have a few people without egos to get the place running just for pure enjoyment; that's what i did when i was in charge, apart from trying to keep the asylum together i tried monthly PPV's and SOTW competitions, David or Platt will donate points and rep or whatev.

Yeah Xain you are 100% right when i first join this league i seen these beautiful objects not knowing what it was at the time, Thanks to AmEagle my friend he told me and went over some facts and stuff about what GFXin is i just had to learn but as soon as i started to become a little good it went down hill i want this section the become huge again there are still amazing GFXers here and some good up & comers like i know Destiny and WWF are getting up there and some don't get enough respect as they should. Some who wine & some who just enjoy the thrill like myself so i say let's make this section full and vibriant like it was before, The days of yond maybe be gone but the days of the next generation will arise.

Re: Let's get this darn section going again! Seriously! (All GFX posters look here)
to be honest, its the end of the school year and people are busy. I personally am in my last year of high school, and the stress is building up and hardly have a life outside of school. its that time of year and you cant really expect people to put that aside just for a forum. yes, i regret not spending the amount of time i should on here, but considering the fact that i just got my marks back on track, i really don't feel all that bad to be honest. give it a month or so and things will get back to how it used to be. you just have to realize that not everyone is ready to drop everything for a wrestling forum.
my biggest thing when things do get unhectic is to try and stray away from wrestling graphic stuff. sure, it's a big part of this section, but people are tired of the same old thing. I personally havent made a wrestling related graphic in such a long time.
I do apologize for the way the section has gone, and i do plan on helping it get better. just be patient.

Re: Let's get this darn section going again! Seriously! (All GFX posters look here)
This section is just MEH now. And it sucks because a lot of people have a lot of ideas for it, yet they never get done.
Myself and another member wanted to start quite a big competition yet we were told not to and to wait for the GFX League to start up ~! =S ?!?!? You see a league yet because i dont.
The GFX section needs people behind it who actually want to do things with it, like others mentioned i very rarely see Thear or Xytne around (no offence just observation) and it shows.
Changes pls.
