My Photoshop CS3 want open png or bmp files. It keeps saying it's the wrong type of file. What can I do about that.

Just downloaded photshop and i haven't an idea how to use it. Been playing about with it, with not much joy. I looked up books on amazon and they are crazy expensive. Anyone got a link to a site i can download an e-book for beginners, or something that will help me out? Thanks Sean...

Most anything you can download of Torrents, I'm not sure if you are familiar with them or not. But that's probably the only place to download photoshop E-books on. The best way to start off is to go to some tutorial sites and do a few effect and blending tutorials and you will eventually start to get the grasp of thing.

If you want some helpful sites they are posted in first post of this thread.

The program I use is Utorrent, and I download the torrents from www.Mininova.org or www.isohunt.com

Ok I use Photoshop CS2 and it has been working fine and then yesterday I open it up and this is what I get "Your serial, organization or username is invalid this application must now end" anyone know how to fix that?
