Re: **GRAPHICS FAQ/HELP/RESOURCE THREAD**
Does cutting your own mean the magic wand tool?
Or is it something else?

Download the brush, then navigate to
C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop Cs3/Presets/Brushes/
Then place the brush pack in there. Install through Photoshop.

Magic wand sucks balls.
Use the pen select tool. Just go to the pen tool, change the settings, I for get which one, and click around the picture. Don't use a feather.

It wasn't for me(and still isn't)! And I was trying to get some from about 10-2 in the morning as I was bored/caffeine-ed up!

Magic Wand sucks balls yes, but I find the pen too tedious to use, so I just use the quick selection tool adding and taking off the bits I want to cut/remove, and afterwards I smooth off any sharp edges, or bits I don't want with the eraser tool. And I even use feather on a 2-5 px setting depending on the picture...
What a dumb shit I am...I should know not to double post by now!!!! sozzards

Re: **GRAPHICS FAQ/HELP/RESOURCE THREAD**
Does someone have a tutorial for a dot border? I'm working on something that I think it would look good on.

Re: **GRAPHICS FAQ/HELP/RESOURCE THREAD**
Make a new canvas, 3 3 using the pencil tool put one dot in the middle, go to edit...define pattern.
Create a new layer, fill it in, ctrl and click the layer, the select and contract the amount of pixels you want the border press delete. Then go to add a stroke change it from colour to pattern. Use the pattern you've just made.
Should work...I think.

Yep, that worked. I had to edit the canvas size so the length and width were a multiple of 3 though, otherwise the border wasn't centered.
