I know I probaly shouldn't post it here, but I'm just looking for quick help with photoshop, as mine is stuffed up and I've never used it anyway. Any chance of someone helping me (by making it) by making me 2 small favours? (a small button like logo with the letters MU on it, fancy etc, colours doesn't bother me), and something similar but bigger for a logo including Music Unleashed and MU again.

Sorry for the hassle, I'm an immense n00b at this stuff.

Yeah. I don't mind about the transparent background thing, I just need it done. I don't think it'll matter much in the end.

Omg, I can't believe I'm asking this, but how do you make a black and white border like alot of people have. I forgot throughout my inactivity of PS.

New layer > ctrl A (with the new layer highlighted) > edit > stroke > 4 pixels white centered > edit > stroke > 2 pixels black centered.

You can play with the numbers, that's just the numbers I generally use.

I'm just starting out with photoshop and cutting out subjects. I have heard of some techniques such as the lasso tools, and using masks. But I'm still a beginner at it.

My question is: What are the easiest/best ways to cut something from an image. I'd prefer answers from those who are pros at this. Links to tutorials would be nice.
