I guess, but I have no idea about how to use it, and I was wondering how everyone manages to do these banners so well, when I don't seem to have a first clue on how to do these stuff when it seems so easy when you look at their banners.

First thing you need to know that it's not easy, to be good anyway. People here that are good have been practicing and doing graphics for a long enough time to be as good as they are.

To learn it's really up to you. For me I learned mainly by trying things and seeing what I liked and what I didn't like. Plus a few tips here and there. This is kinda the impatient approach I would say. If you want to take the time you can read/watch/view tutorials. They help a lot with using different things on photoshop.

You're not going to learn by asking broad questions, keep things simple and ask specific questions. Once your good with that ask/try something else.

That's my advice anyway.

Yeah, you're right. Sorry, I'm being impatient because I want to do well, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Thanks for you help, I'll probably takes things slower from now on.

You honestly cannot make anything look good in paint. Paint is the last thing I'd attempt to make anything in.

I had kinda a weird problem on Photoshop. I was fooling around and tried to make a match banner and I used some PSD and got it the way I wanted but when I saved it as a JPEG to upload, the file doesn't show up as JPEG when I find it, it doesn't have a file type. It uploads fine onto TinyPic but I just don't know why is doesn't save to file type JPEG - anyone got any ideas?

in Folder Options do you have it set to show known file extensions?
