Ok, well all the pictures that make up the background arent blended and are quite boring and it is very busy. Try blending the different pictures of the Elimination Chamber together. Just lowering the opacity of the wrestlers doenn't work too well. The text isn't very good. Just some red text with an inner bevel. The chain-link effect is good, but it's poorly cut.
Sorry to be harsh, but I'm telling the truth. Overall, it's not a great piece. If you want to make banners , especially ones this size, take your time. Doing it quickly doesn't work.
I like the placement of the wrestlers, and the overlay you put on them, sort of, but you really have to desaturate them (black n white), or blend them in so it doesn't appear completely off. Orton doesn't exactly look behind the bars, if that's what you were attempting. The others I'm not sure why you lowered the opacity, or overlayed, because they would look just fine without that, just add like black and white since it would math perfectly here. (Ctrl+U , then lower the saturation, or set your colors to black and white, go to Neon glow, put both bars to maximum, or mess around with that to get a different black and white effects, also high pass if you want) I don't always like black and white stuff but it would match the cage here. Theres even textures/pre-made styles etc that you could put over them and lower the opactiy, but I dunno how that would look. Thats what you should first do imo, change up the wrestlers blending and saturation.
Second the chains are great but they look REALLY blocky. I'm sure there is some pre-made style out there for chain brushes, or a tutorial to make them look perfect. I've only used chains once, so I can't help you here.
The text doesn't really work or match at all. Try to get something silver, a thicker font maybe, and mess around with effects & different textures or styles.
So yea I like the PSD placements, but there's some things you have to tweak to make it look like a real poster. Right now some of the guys look like ghosts because overlay or lowering the opacity or whatever you did just did not work here currently. The worst case being Randy Orton, I think you could easily get it to look like realistically behind those bars with the right blending options.
Thanks for the reviews. The text isn't my strong point. The chains are just brushes downloaded from Deviantart. I made a v2 taking on your ideas. Here it is.
This looks pretty quick made work, it's probably not, but still.. Couple of things that really matters are: Bad cutting, some low quality pics and you can see the top of the chamber on the bottom pics.
The best way to make some simple posters is to add the wrestlers without anykinds of tricks to BG and add some effect.
V2 is certainly better than V1. Looks a lot better in balck and white. The picas aren't cut great and it looks like two different banners joined together in the middle. The chains are bit bold and out there. Clear that you didn't take long with it and could be improved if you spend some more time on it. The text isn't that bad and looks better in silver. Very big and might have been better if you made it a bit smaller.
Sorry but it looks pretty dodgy. There is no blending between the two BG's. The chain brushes look blurred. The opacity you have put on the wrestlers is unneeded. The Michaels & Kennedy cuts look a bit iffy in places.
The 2nd poster looks slightly better with the black & white wrestlers. It kinda blends in more with the chains and BG. But the bevel on the text is unneeded.
Most people normally work their way up to doing a poster of this magnitude. It looks like you need to go back a few steps and read some more tutorials and help guides.
I can't see the whole v2 for some reason but here I found some cool text tutorials. I haven't tried this one yet but it looks like it will go good with that. Maybe change gold to silver, but gold may do.
I looked for a cool chain tutorial but really couldn't find one - I'm sure someone else who has used chains before can find you one but I found you these textures and stocks that you might be able to use
Ok, I'm editing this as I can now see the 2nd version. It is significantly better than before. With the black and white wrestlers the chains actually look a lot better than before, but I've seen pure chrome chains made on photoshop before so if you could find out how to do that it'd be even better. The two chain textures I showed you may work better, may not , IDK, test it out. But first try that 3rd chain text tutorial I showed you. It would make the poster look greater overall. (you may need to use different font size though)
