Yes, and no. Before he was El Torito and Mascarita Dorada he was known as Mascarita Sagrada which is a gimmick who has been portrayed by many wrestlers. There was a "Mascarita Sagrada" in the WWE in 1997 and also 2003 but it's not the same guy.

This guy started out as Mascarita Sagrada and took over the gimmick from the original one when he left AAA. However, when he was signed by CMLL he was repackaged as Mascarita Dorada since AAA owned the legal rights to the Sagrada name. As you can see in the video, when he debuted in CMLL he removed his Sagrada mask and replaced it with the new "Dorada" mask.

Hunico can't sell moves like this. The only ones who just might can is Primo and Hornswoggle.

I think it's a shame that a guy with more talent than half the roster is lumped with two guys who between them don't have as much talent.

Los Matadores ... stupid gimmick
El Torito ... more talent than Primo & Epico (or whatever stupid names they have now) put together
