^ I think Goldberg wouldn't job to Scott Steiner. There is no way he's jobbing to Ryback.

Ryback Lex Lugar makes more sense. They have about the same in ring skill.

You talk as if Goldberg's wrestling skills mirror Dean Malenko.

He belongs in the same group as Ryback, Luger, Warrior and Ahmed Johnson, in terms of in ring skill. Only thing that makes him even remotely different is his intensity and character, which helped do a good job in hiding how horrible of a wrestler he really was.

Did you or did you not say top 50? And I don't see what any of that has to do in the context of a wrestling discussion. Non stop, anytime there's a Goldberg thread, you come in, bringing up his football numbers or his non existent MMA career.

And, I've come across a thread from last year on this forum, with certain wrestlers bench press numbers, as well as the source it derives from:

Funny. Brock is listed at 595, with Goldberg at 550.

Or, we can go buy "official stats", where Goldberg talks about benching 400 in an interview, whereas Brock's training camp numbers have him at 475.

But, none of that means anything because, since Goldberg actually played football, he's automatically stronger. Really?

Goldberg article referencing his 400lb bench press days: http://www.muscleprodigy.com/bill-go...arcl-3001.html

Brock's NFL training camp bench press and squat numbers: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/7...eight-division
I don't know how accurate that source is because there are interviews that Brock have said Kane have beaten him in an arm wrestling match many times, and also admitted that he is the strongest wrestler he felt. So those stats kind of bring irony to the table.

Cool, we don't have to go by the quote from last year about Brock benching 595. We can go by the NFL training camp numbers that have him at 475.

So, if Goldberg still says 400, what changes?

Goldberg isn't interested in helping new talent anyways. The guy really is a mark. He just wants to fight bigger names and shit.

Oh and Brock is stronger.. Brock is the epitome of a powerhouse physically. Goldberg may have been better at making squash matches look better but Brock is the bigger guy.

I would rather pick out my eyeballs with an ice pick than have to watch Goldberg come back, let alone have a match with Ryback.

If you don't mind, could you go ask Goldberg how much he lifted when you see him in person? That's the best way to get an accurate stat of his power and strength when you compare it to Brock Lesnar's since nothing about Goldberg's benches, squats, and dead lifts show up on the internet.

It's best to not assume anything about the guy. And certain sources can be made up just to make another person look good or bad.
