Re: Favorite Current Gimmick Match/ Stipulation Match
Before I choose, I'd like to point out that a lot of my favorite specialty matches have been ruined over the last couple of years by having PPVs named after them. They used to have a purpose and an actual story to tell. There was a reason for the Mankind vs. Undertaker match at King of the Ring. The Batista/HHH and Edge/Undertaker cell matches made sense as well. Now, whatever feud happens to be taking place in October will be settled in Hell in a Cell. Most of the time it isn't necessary. Undertaker and Kane is the only one that kind of was, even though the match sucked.
My answer is Elimination Chamber though. I wish the chamber match would only happen every once in a while as well. Example: The WWE Champion has been attacked backstage on Raw. The identity of the person responsible is unknown. The title has become vacant and a new champion will be crowned at Night of Champions (just a random show off the top of my head) in an Elimination Chamber match. The match would have a backstory and I just like the spontaneity of announcing the match when no one expects it.
