Vince Russo should come back....as a manager

Serious thought, why not? If you paired him with someone who maybe lacks for mic skills or could do with a manager(maybe Roman Reigns post shield, or Ryback perhaps? Or just someone new) I definetely think it would work and here's why.

1 - He can draw natural heat just because he is Vince Russo from sections of the crowd
2 - Him being him can draw natural heat as well, a brash noo yawker, thinks he knows everything etc. As an on air character I always felt he was underrated
3 - Of all the people who should know how to cut a good promo, surely its the ex booker? 2 of the best managers in recent years - Dutch Mantel (Zeb Coulter) and Paul Heyman are former bookers. They spent years being very good at telling people how to cut promos, so it normally follows on that they would be good themselves
4 - Russo being there - makes the product more believable. Some people have legitimately hated Russo or at least been at loggerheads, that always makes great TV, like when Steph slapped Heyman people bought that it was a real thing

D Lo Brown -

On any given night in 2000 there were 10, 12 million people watching Nitro and Raw. In 2005 there's been 2 1/2 million. So where did 9 1/2 million people go? They didn't just die. They turned the channel.

This has nothing to do with him on creative, Im unsure whether he can contribute enough on that end to be worth it

Vince Russo is irrelevant in 2013.The majority of the audience would have no idea who he is.

By that logic - Colter is surely irrelevant? His character alone would be good enough to get some heat, plus it would troll the smarks

Without even reading any of the thread that sounds like an incredible idea. I am usually very anti russo but man would that guy get heat. From smarks who detest him to the fact that when he talks the casual fans will hate him too. Then again he'll start to do such a good the smarks will love him

Yeah, we already heard it before but this thread is not about writing or booking so you fail.

Check for example some segments in WCW with Russo & Tank Abbott, pure gold and proves that Vince Russo would work excellent as manager

Re: Vince Russo should come back....as a manager

I don't get what everyone has against Russo, lol.

He should come back and book the damn show, not be booked on it. Jesus.

But if he had to be a manager, he would have to book himself. I could live with that.

Re: Vince Russo should come back....as a manager

I'm pretty sure he has come out and said that he "Hates" the wrestling business and is "done." I don't think he would want to come back.

I think it would be entertaining to see him though.

MY FAV 5 All Time

1. Bret Hart
2. Stone Cold
3. The Rock
4. Mr. Perfect
5. Macho Man
