I don't think Russo could fix the problems in the WWE, the guy is very good at certain parts of the business, not so much at others though. While some of his angles were good, a lot of people forget stuff like Mae Young giving birth to a hand, Val Venis getting his junk chopped off, and a lot of other really weird angles that really didn't help.
Hadn't Russo left by the time the hand thing happened ?
This is just the reaction of people desperate for a some change, regardless of the quality
of said change. Russo could be just as bad as the present, if not worse, plus more puerile and "SHOCKING SWERVE."
Still, I'd take a veteran like Russo over some soap opera stooge with zero business experience in the pro grapz business.
WWE is more than Days of our Lives with suplexes. All the comedy writers, Hollywood wunderkind,
stand up talent as gifted as Patrice O'Neal and day time soap literati have been a disaster.
It is time to look within the business for the next Russo and not go backwards or look in the wrong places.
Remember they aren't suplexes anymore they are throws.

Re: Would anybody want Vince Russo back as booker?
Hell no. Then it would be a dumb swerve almost every week with some goofy backstage shit happening that had nothing to do with anything on the show. WWE doesn't need his vastly overrated Yankee ass writing some retarded bullshit. There's a reason he is in TNA...he's a burned out reject who can't cut it in the big leagues anymore. Let him write for the scabs, Vince doesn't need him and hasn't in 14 years.
