Even the WWE's penchant for fucking up couldn't lead them to a worse year than the New Generation Era.

Re: 2015 Will Be The Worst Year in Wrestling History

That's still a long way too go. The Undertaker may surprise people and still have some more Wrestlemania matches left in him after that. CM Punk may change his mind about wanting to retire. And I really don't think the WWE would need to rely on part-timers so much if they built up the talent the full-time talent they have now, so we'll see. They do seem to be taking the Sheild pretty seriously.

As for John Cena, I really do think his time at the top is coming to a end in a few years. Their really isn't much left for him to do at this stage of his career other than chalenge the Undertaker for the streak at Wrestlemania. Also, their is the rare chance of a Cena heel turn, which although I do find unlikely right now, when (if ever) it does happen, I think it would open up a lot of new creative storyline ideas to work with. You could have Cena turn heel at Wrestlemania 31 or 32, then try and build up the next top face for a year or two to defeat him at Wrestlemania 33 or 34. I'm just throwing ideas out, but maybe you get the point.

As others have said, let's wait and see before we start to panic.

Re: 2015 Will Be The Worst Year in Wrestling History

I think Undertaker at least does his yearly streak extending match till 2020. It has become the only meaningful thing in WWE so might as well keep it going. If he just does that one match and maybe a handful of appearances throughout the year it should keep him healthy enough. Undertaker's streak means as much in WWE as Inoki's final countdown did in Japan. When Undertaker finally hangs it up for good it will be the end of the last vestiges of the WWF I grew up with.

What about Ryback??

"A reset, for me, is what I want. I have so much more, like going back to the woods or wherever the new place would be, and kind of recapturing that moment. That was the whole message of those first vignettes. They were shot in daylight on purpose. The idea was that monsters are real and they walk among you in the daylight. We're not hiding in the dark or back alleyways but they're real and they live with you. The real monsters are human. Don't fear the boogeyman, fear your neighbor."-Captivating in every sense of the word.
Top 5:

1) Bray Wyatt
2) Kevin Owens
3) AJ Styles
4) Baron Corbin
5) Kalisto

Re: 2015 Will Be The Worst Year in Wrestling History

They've done well with The Shield so far. I think they are planning for those guys to be the next Main Eventers, because they've gotten more consistentcy then...anyone in the last couple years.

Now they can still fuck that up, but if they don't, then they have 3 top guys incoming.
