Edge

Tomorrow marks the two year anniversary of Edge's retirement. I do not know about any of you, but I was at an absolute loss for words as he made his retirement speech on Raw and I was rather choked up myself. I usually do not feel saddened when a "celebrity" announces their backing away from an industry; however, I admired Edge since he broke out in the WWF. Without question, I believe he earned his spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Re: Edge

I miss Edge, honestly. He was great in the ring, not amazing, but great. His mic skills were BOSS. He, like HHH, was always at his best in terms of mic skills when he'd start using that aggressive tone to his voice in promos/segments/interviews.

I hate how I started getting back into the WWE a week or so after the big SmackDown show where he made that huge speech and all the guys came out and hugged him etc because it was near where I live.

Re: Edge

Second greatest of all time after Chris Jericho. His retirement basically killed SD for good. That's how good he was.

I have been watching it for years and years. I'm 28 now but I have been watching WWE since I was three or four (and I turned out pretty okay lol) I was so unhappy when he made his retirement speech. He was one of my favorite wrestlers.

Re: Edge

Shame he had to retire..was a part of some of the greatest ladder matches of all time. However i dont feel he is HOF worthy, never was truly over as a singles star, Had great matches with Foley, Taker and Cena though. Also a above average Promo.

Hope he is content with his life post-wrestling and wish nothing but good things for the guy.
