Re: Edge

@Carlito1

So because he won the title as much as he did that means he was over?...wheres that logic?

Also when he was Heel in 2006 I was really enjoying WWE again at that time, I started watching again after his match with Foley at WM, and his title run had alot of great matches. Specifically his two TLC matches with Flair/Cena. Even enjoyed Rated RKO and I hate Orton. Edge is one of the best, Mid carder call him whatever ya want but his resume and highlight reel is HOF worthy
Flair thanked him in his own HOF induction speech for the first ladder match he ever had and it was with Edge. He said he brought out the best in him. I'm not a Flair fan however, most people recognize Edge as a great wrestler who really knows how to help his opponent shine. He gave his all during his matches.

I miss Edge. He was one of the young guys (in his early years) that I found easy to connect with, knowing he grew up as a huge wrestling fan. That was always so cool to me as a kid. It felt like- Wow, he loved wrestling his whole life like I do. Maybe I could be a great wrestler like him!

His whole career was just so fun to watch. The Brood was just badass, the TLC matches, and especially E&C. So many hilarious segments and great memories of those two.

Edge though became a star, one of the best heels in the past 10 years easily. He was just a guy that made wrestling fun.

That has got to be Kane.

He is amazing. I am trying to get my co-hosts of the radio show I'm on to do a dedication to Edge this Sunday because I can talk about his accomplishments for hours. The list goes on. I have the plaque from WWE.com of his last match, autographed, with a piece of the canvas for WM (last match) It is an amazing piece.

Re: Edge

They put him in the HoF too early. It's like shelving a collectible figurine behind glass. All you can do is look at it forever.

They probably should have waited but maybe they thought he wouldn't do it down the line.

After someone's entered into the HOF that's pretty much it. You're relevant for a night and then people start to forget, exponentially each year. At least w/o it you still have people wondering whether or not you're going to get in and when. Like I said, the HoF is like the shelf for figurines that you just want to look at. It's like not only turning the page on the last chapter but the epilogue too.
