HBK, WM21
Austin, Summerslam 2001
Mysterio, Summerslam 2002
Lesnar, Summerslam 2003 and SD 2003 Iron Man Match
German suplex is an extremely dangerous maneuver. Wrestling is largely about spreading the impact across your back, NOT on your upper back and neck, and yet the German suplex concentrates the impact on your upper back. Very dangerous.

I'd say they are on par. Lesnar is the perfect combination of power, technicality and speed. Plus he can also do a SHOOTING STAR PRESS!

And Okay yeah Taker and Angle did put on amazing efforts, Taker was at one of his best at this time, but Angle clearly played a bigger part. And Lesnar was at best average.
Please clarify both of these to me.

How was Angle playing a bigger part in the match than 'Taker?
And how was Brock Lesnar, former NCAA Heavyweight Champion, and WWE Champion, average at best? The guy was being booked and viewed as the next big thing (No pun intended).

I don't think he remembers what a shooting star press is after WM19.

Angle is in a different class to Brock if we're talking about wrestling skill.

watch the match, Angle clearly had 20 mins of action on Taker and Taker had just about ten minutes of offense.. and those were towards the end basically. Angle had the most offense and still came on top. And Lesnar a great athletic not taking that from him, very good wrestler, but I really don't think he had anything compare to the Olympic Gold Medalist.. my point of my view :/

He can execute the SSP properly but he just managed to botch it in grandest stage of them all. If that botch happened in a random SD! match then it wouldn't have been so memorable.

Re: Your favorite Kurt Angle match from WWE?

My three personal favorites...

Kurt Angle vs. Steve Austin - Unforgiven 2001
Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero - WrestleMania XX
Kurt Angle vs. John Cena - No Way Out 2005

I never got to see any of The Undertaker matches since I was getting tired of WWE by then, I'm sure if I saw them they'd be up there though. I also enjoyed Angle's work with Mysterio and a lot.

Re: Your favorite Kurt Angle match from WWE?

Him and Taker at No Way Out. Cannot believe WWE blew their load and had it just 4 weeks before Mania instead of holding out.

Anything between Angle and Benoit is a given, too. Especially the Rumble match. The standing ovation the fans gave is what wrestling is all about.
