He was x division champ until recently. A rather uneventful run that he's no longer really suited for, though he was over with the crowds. He's been slow and unmotivated seeming much of the time in TNA but, as another poster mentioned in the TNA section, he'd fit better in the current WWE where he might get to wrestling in proper matches for his current form. I hope he did sign a limited appearances contract with them. It would be the best outcome for all concerned.
Paul Heyman guy vs another Paul Heyman Guy.Can't wait for this feud, was always a Rob Van Dam fan.
__________________ THE ROCK: The biggest star and draw of pro-wrestling industry EVER.
1.Holds the record of drawing most major shows with 10,000+ attendance on top in one calendar year.[Broke Hogan's(1986) and Austin's(1998) record in 1999 and set a record of headlining over 100 shows with 10,000 plus people in attendance in year 2000.A box-office drawing record that is unsurpassed till date.]
2.Holds the record of main-eventing almost 17 PPVs that have got over 500k buys(again,a feat of inimitable drawing power that is unmatched by anyone in pro-wrestling history)
3.Drew the highest cable ratings during the AE.
4.Sold more merchandise than anyone active between mid 1999-2001.
If WWE would be willing to cross a few lines then this could be an interesting feud. I mean it practically writes it self. Maybe have RVD vs someone for the number one contender-ship, have Punk cost RVD the match, and have Punk talk about how ridiculous it is for someone known for smoking weed gets a title shot opportunity instead of the straight edge former 434 day WWE champion. The actual feud (if there is one) wouldn't go down like that but there is potential.
Listen son, you need a lesson in quality over quantity. Look at pagi's post count to join date, then look at yours. When pagi makes a post, everyone knows it will be big. It's kind of like a Rock appearance. In a lot of ways, pagi is the Rock of this board. You on the other hand, are more like the Funaki of this board.
