Re: RVD coming back
I doubt this is true, but I'd be all for it. As much dislike as he gets these days, I've always liked RVD. Him and Punk would put on some entertaining matches.

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

Re: RVD coming back
R.V.D was awesome in the ring, but now I think he is too old.

Re: RVD coming back
What about the wellness policy? He will have 2 violations even before he finish reading the contract.
In a serious note, due to his age he can't work like before and I don't see him coming back.

Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Kevin Nash, Lita, Kurt Angle, every wrestler known to man, woman and child will be in NY/NJ during WrestleMania weekend.
TNA, ROH, DGUSA, Chikara etc all have shows over the weekend.

He was x division champ until recently. A rather uneventful run that he's no longer really suited for, though he was over with the crowds. He's been slow and unmotivated seeming much of the time in TNA but, as another poster mentioned in the TNA section, he'd fit better in the current WWE where he might get to wrestling in proper matches for his current form. I hope he did sign a limited appearances contract with them. It would be the best outcome for all concerned.

If WWE would be willing to cross a few lines then this could be an interesting feud. I mean it practically writes it self. Maybe have RVD vs someone for the number one contender-ship, have Punk cost RVD the match, and have Punk talk about how ridiculous it is for someone known for smoking weed gets a title shot opportunity instead of the straight edge former 434 day WWE champion. The actual feud (if there is one) wouldn't go down like that but there is potential.

Re: RVD coming back
He's not like he used to be in the ring, but I can't deny that I'd pop if I heard his old entrance theme again.
