Its not his in ring ability that is so hated, it is his ridiculous booking. His no selling and his insecurities.

It's not really his ring work most people have a problem with, it's his 'superhero' character. Cena's become a pretty solid worker in the ring and we're well past the '5 moves of doom' stage. Obviously he could always improve and his selling can sometimes be non-existent, but there's a lot worse on the roster. The fact that his character hasn't evolved over the years is most people's problem with him.

He IS good in the ring and I like him. Well, not his character which I think is what most people have a problem with.

His ring work isn't the problem. It's him as a character. He's been needing to change it up for near on 7 years now and the fact they haven't done ANYTHING apart from make him look like a hypocrite is quite frankly pathetic on the WWEs behalf.
