He is good in the ring and I still don't like him. His in ring ability is the least of his worries. He's not Daniel Bryan but Cena knows exactly what the main event WWE style is and he does it very well, apart from not understanding how to put an STF on. I am still, to this day stunned that the WWE has never gotten William Regal to grapple with Cena before a taping and teach him how the hold is applied.

John Cena is good in the ring. And when he's not playing herp-derp-John-Cena, he's astonishingly likeable. And he's handsome. That thing people talk about when they say 'charisma' -- he has it, in spades.
The problem is his character. I actually would have enjoyed this doubt-filled, determined John Cena LAST YEAR. They've waited too late to build up the dramatic tension for Wrestlemania, but it would have been excellent about six months ago.
