None of them were Cena matches. He's had good matches but he's never had a five star match in my book.

Cena's good in the ring, he's proven that time in and time out when he's not lazy. But his ring ability isn't the problem by any means, it's his stale character and Superman booking that makes the majority of people hate on him.

Cena's problem is his inconsistency.

If he's not working with Punk or in a 20+ minute match with big fight feel, he just doesn't give two shits. In any regular TV match, it's his typical get his ass kicked for 5 minutes and make a comeback in the 6th. Just lazy booking really. Even in 20+ main events on PPV he does that shit. See his matches with Miz.

Although, I'll give Cena credit where credit is due. In terms of TV matches when he's working with Damien Sandow, Alberto Del Rio or Big Show, whether it be 5, 10 or 15 minutes he puts a lot of effort into the match. But put him in the ring against a midcard guy, he half-asses it big time.

Then there's the promos. Again, unless it's Punk or someone he likes working with, he could care less. Cena in '07 was no doubt a top promo guy. Now, he's a top promo guy when he feels like it. Look at his promo with Punk the week of NOC with Bret on RAW, look at that amazing promo he did on RAW before their match a few weeks ago. Just some fantastic mic work. Now look at his promo last week with The Rock. BTW, Rock and Cena have absolutely no chemistry together on the mic. Why is it that when's facing Punk, he's all serious but when he's with Rock he's making stupid Mike Tyson jokes and smiling like a retard? During his feud with Lesnar, Cena was a complete badass for those three weeks. No smiling, no lame ass jokes, just straight up seriousness. With Rock, man, fuck Cena and Rock. These guys will never click.

So yeah that's my problem with Cena. INCONSISTENCY.
