I was just watching the gimmick battle royal from WrestleMania 17 on WWE OnDemand and they can use the old scratch logo finally and say the name WWF without it being censored out. It's so refreshing to see. Now if they can re-release a ton of DVDs with the logo and name untouched it would be very nice. I'm actually looking forward to buying Attitude Era themed DVDs from now on. I hope they make another one for Austin, The Rock, Triple H and a few others. I must get the actual Attitude Era DVD they just released last year.

They've likely got so much of the blurred video/photo footage that the website still uses a lot of it. Probably quicker to hand than getting the original unedited version.

Yes please. I don't mind the editing in principle, but the blurred turnbuckle pads are just distracting when trying to watch any Attitude Era show.

I also was irritated to see a big golden W for their Old School episode. Why were they allowed to use the real WWF logo in 2010 but not in 2013?

This. Instead of looking through an old picture archive they just marked out the blurring as the photo was recently used.

Nothing more complex than that.

This exactly. They won't even do a supposedly "old school" Raw without their own legally owned "old school" logo. It was a stupid idea.

Not gonna lie, I saw a picture of Stephanie from the Attitude era/WWF days on their website earlier today because I was just browsing for pictures to edit, and the WWF logo on the turnbuckle wasn't blurred out.

Maybe they were too lazy to edit it out at the time or they didn't know how to (which would be ridiculous if that was the reason), but it's so easy to edit it out, just because it was angled weird doesn't mean it would be hard, just use the blur tool and shit on Photoshop. I'll edit this post later once I find it.
