I think what Austin said was very fair and very much accurate.

He is a smart man.

You can't really get a fairer response than that. Wrestling changes over time to adapt to the current time. Austin knows that and obviously respects the past.

Re: Stone Cold responds to criticism from Bruno Sammarntino

just sick and tired of these old timers from 80's bitching about 90's era. time changes and these old timers still have old mind set.

what you called Attitude era more close to reality than back in 80's with all type of characters which have attitude within them. look at current product now went back to 80's with G rated product Good Guys vs Bad Guys and people have turn off and really pissed off.

Steve Austin gave a great response. Stood up to Bruno's comments without disrespecting a true legend.

Re: Stone Cold responds to criticism from Bruno Sammarntino

Bruno's criticism hardly even requires a response. It's sad to say it, but nobody really gives a fuck what Bruno has got to say about anything at all. He's damn important to wrestling, few will argue that. It's his job as a legend to just stand there and look pretty, that's all he's there for. He can stand there and look pretty while we all admire him for his accomplishments we know little to nothing about in reality, the number of current fans who actually watched a Bruno match back in the day is microscopic. He's completely irrelevant to the current product

Stone Cold is full of common sense in his response as always, Bruno may not like the Attitude Era, but he's wrong because just about everybody else DID like it.
