Only The Rock gets those kind of ovations today, everyone else's pops just seem to die out.

HUGE pops that I've contributed to and experienced live in the past few years would be, in no order, Rock's pop when he beat Cena at Mania 28 and Brock Lesnar's return the night after. The former was a burst of sheer energy and happiness lol and the latter was a beastly roar of shock and surprise. The tombstone on Taker at Mania 27 is also something I remember very vividly because it was almost like pure hysteria. People lost their shit and it was just LOUD. I wouldn't call it a pop though, more of a guttural reaction to something that people legitimately couldn't believe they were seeing.

Other pops that I wasn't part of but that sounded pretty darn loud would be Rock in Chicago I think it was, Rock's return in 2011 and Punk at MITB. Those would round it out I guess. We've had some other very loud reactions but if we're talking strictly top level pops then I think that's about it. Special mention to the Taker/HHH stand off in 2011 where people made continuous noise for like 15 minutes or whatever it was. Not necessarily a pop but a sustained reaction no doubt.

Rock's was definitely the biggest imo.

The Rock pinning John Cena at WrestleMania 28 is the loudest pop and overall reaction of this generation. Nothing came close to the pure emotion that this match created in the audience that night in Miami. It was a sports type atmosphere.

Between Rock and Brock's return, Brock returned with a crowd that was mega hot all night, for every segment of the show and got a HUGE pop. Rock came back to an average WWE crowd and got a HUGE pop that people in the building were saying was the loudest they have ever heard in the history of the building for any type of event. Close, but if you're adding Rock's massive ovation actually getting louder walking to the ring. It's Rock's.

Rock's after WM28 was also a crazy pop. All ridiculous reactions for this era of the business.

When I watched it for the first time on TV, the pop for Brock sounded louder. However, as loud as the initial roar was, it was a quick roar that died down. There was another roar as he appeared on the stage too.

The Rock's return in 2011 was just insane. Like others have said, the crowd was your average PG crowd all night. Nothing special really, but when Rock's music hit that crowd exploded like it was the Attitude Era again. Its a pop that carries on for ages, and only gets louder as he makes his way down the aisle. So, Rock's was more satisfying and longer, but Brock's initial pop may have been louder.

But yeah, the pop for Rock beating Cena at Wrestlemania blows them both out of the water. WWE cuts to a PERFECT camera shot straight after the three count that shows absolutely EVERYBODY going crazy.

Not enough love for Rock's post-Mania RAW pop. Another huge one that lasted for his whole entrance. God, I love that episode.

And I might be in the minority, but although Punk got a longer ovation at MITB 2011 in Chicago, Rock got a bigger pop on the go-home RAW before Mania 27.

The reception Brock received was awe-inspiring... kudos to the crowd I thought for that one week if only it lasted that long that FINALLY the "real" wwe fans of the Attitude Era are back... but then it all changed for the worse...

This, summed it up perfectly!

Punks win at MITB is still the only one out of all mentioned that gives me goosebumps. Perfect storytelling and one of the best storylines/pay offs we have seen in over a decade.
