Re: Why is Austin neglecting WWE so much?

People are begging for Austin to come back now, but 3 years ago people were begging The Rock to come back too. And he did. And now those same people are the ones wanting him to leave again. It'll be the same deal with Stone Cold.

THERE IS ONLY ONE DIAMOND IN THE BUSINESS AND HIS NAME IS TITUS O'NEIL

He's too busy making low budget movies.

Re: Why is Austin neglecting WWE so much?

I felt he kinda overstayed his welcome with how long he was around and how often he came back for appearances. As much as I'd love for a SCSA return, it's nice having to guess when he'll be back. Crowd is gonna go ape shit when he does finally return.

It's Austin call if ever wants to come back. I hope he does come back someday and makes some appearance on Raw.

I'm not talking about him coming back and making a string of appearances or trying to compete with the spotlight from anybody. He's Austin, he doesn't have to. He'll always get his reaction from the crowd regardless of what's going on.
So....what the fuck is the point of this thread if you KNOW why he couldn't show up?

Re: Why is Austin neglecting WWE so much?

Not really sure if there's a place for Austin in the modern era, and many times when they bring back legends, it just isn't as great as you'd like it to be and Austin is definitely aware of this. What could he bring to the table at this point that he hasn't before?

On top of that, Austin for much of his career, was held down by older guys in WCW that couldn't let go of the spotlight, he had one of the biggest careers ever, but coming back now just means that some younger guy won't get that spot.

Re: Why is Austin neglecting WWE so much?

He doesn't always have to come back every year, not even for special RAWs. He wants to do shit outside of the business and I'm fine with that, he can do whatever he wants.

He SHOULD feel like he doesn't owe them anything, because he doesn't. He saved the E's ass during the Monday Night Wars, and sacrificed the fuck out of his knees and neck in the process.

Anyway, I dunno, maybe he felt like the constant appearances kinda watered down the "special" feeling of his returns, maybe he was busy, or maybe he just didn't want to. Nobody really knows but him and those close to him.

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.
