Stone Cold in PG era? that will be as The Rock guys. You will get so dissapointed that he doesnt do all that shit he did in his active years.

Re: Why is Austin neglecting WWE so much?

Imagine if you're Steve Austin. Would you really want to tarnish your legacy by associating yourself with this fucking embarrassing product? I sure wouldn't.

Austin is very well off financially. I'm happy with just having the memories of how great he was in my favorite period of wrestling ever. Honestly, I don't want his greatness diminished by having him come back and be horribly misused or made into some PG shadow of his former self.

Ithink Austin would much rather stay in Texas, drinks beer, and relax.

Re: Why is Austin neglecting WWE so much?

why would he come back when the WWE has moved so far from the atmosphere that his character could thrive in.

there's no room for stone cold steve austin drinking beers giving the finger and giving the stunner to stephanie mcmahon in the world of santinos and brodus clays.

and if he isnt gonna drink beers and flip the bird and give the stunner to absolutely everybody in the ring male or female, hornswoggle and mae west too, i dont wanna see him. lets keep stone cold as he should be.

Austin got a free pass for selling out, and Jericho gets a free pass everytime he leaves and slaps his fans in the face then comes crawling back to lose cause hes Bored
One Trick Pony? I like. Steve gets a free pass cuz hes irrelevant outside of WWE while Dwayne is bigger then the entire industry. Fans resent how sucsessful hes gotten without there ungrateful asses, there is also a lot of misinformation about why he left. Steve has stayed away in recent years cuz he doesnt want to be overshadowed by da GOAT, its reported that he was very open about this at Mania 28

For a start, Austin didnt leave completely. He came back once in a while. At least once a year

2nd, he didnt exactly leave by choice. His last major match happened right after a heart attack and soon after, his body had enough, one more match and he could have been crippled. Look at all the surgery he's had done

Rock left from 2004 to 2011 by choice, and in that time cut two promos on WWE TV and one HOF promo. Neither in person

So yeah, not the same situation

That being said, who cares. None of them owe us anything. If they wanna leave, their choice

Because he just doesn't have the passion he once had. He knows today's product is shit so I don't blame him for not appearing.

Re: Why is Austin neglecting WWE so much?

Austin has a twitter if you want to follow his current doings.

What is he supposed come back for? Drive his 4-wheeler, drink beer, show the finger, give someone a stunner.. and then go home? You can't do that all the time.

If he has nothing left to offer, then just let him be. He gave us enough as is.
