In general and in comparison, Lesnar. Batista was a strong guy, but I've never seen an athlete like Brock Lesnar in my life and it's highly possible anyone who comes close to him still pales in comparison.
i don't think that's the case
i mean lesnar was always a consistent draw unlike batista whose drawing ability reduced alot after he was moved to smackdown i mean look at the rating
smackdown ratings started to decline first under batista's reign
during john cena's reign smackdown was getting 3.2-3.5 and when he left to raw and batista came to SD,the show was getting 2.6-2.9 at best
Lesnar was better overall. Batista got quite a bit of heat on the Internet before his last run in case people forget. Lesnar is a one in a million and working with Heyman, he was just that much better.
Lesnar, he's one of my top 3 wrestlers of all time, up there with The Rock and just behind the GOAT BPP. His in-ring work is entertaining as fuck. Brb wrestling, brb ground and pound, brb power moves and suplexes all over the place, brb stiff as fuck, brb moves like a highflyer and still a great seller/ring psychologist all at the same time. The guy is the most universally talented ring-worker I've ever seen, he can do everything a small athletic highflyer can do, he can do everything a proficient technical wrestler can do, and he can throw guys around like a big guy can do. He uses 100% of his genetic superiority and hard work in the gym in an entertaining manner and it pays off.
Brock Lesnar by far. Better matches, better feuds. It's not even close. Batista had a great look and the rare good promo, but was injury prone and got carried in the ring all the time. Brock was huge AND a great in ring talent, never got carried and constantly had great matches with everyone from guys like Angle and Taker to midcarders like Rey and Benoit. And his match with Cena last year was better than any match Batista had with Cena.

Lesnar in the ring, but Batista's no slouch for a big man either. Then there's the category of mic skills. When Batista's a face, it's about even, but when he's a heel, he completely blows Brock out of the water on the mic. It's not even close.
Brock Lesnar was freak of nature. Superb athlete, excellent wrestler, a giant of a man, the pro to-type for a monster character. Lesnar was huge AND could wrestle with the best of them, as well as brawl. For a short career he had some excellent matches, was brilliantly booked for the most part and was one of the most brutal and despicable heels in years.
I liked Batista, I thought he was kinda underrated, he was okay in the ring for the most part, and when he really tried he could cut a decent promo. His final heel run was good, except WWE jobbed him out sadly. Still, he's not as good as Lesnar, except maybe as a talker. And even then, only barely.
