I started watching wrestling in 2005(10 years old) one of the first wrestlers i saw fight was brock lesnar he instantly became a favorite of mine i loved his f5 finisher and he was one of the first action figures i got as well.Who was yours?
I remember the really early days, as a 5 or 6 year old watching Hart, Michaels, Hogan, Ultimate Warrior (by far my favourite at the time) and then came Stone Cold who took wrestling into a new era. Hogan had done similar things in the 80s but Austin made wrestling "cool" for a whole new generation and made it acceptable to the video game generation.
So to answer the thread, Warrior was my first favourite but Stone Cold was the guy I grew up with.
Sad that todays kids have to grow up with John Cena...Batista...oh God.
Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels (during his Rocker days) when I started watching in the 80's were my first favorite wrestlers.
I stopped being a Hulkimaniac a long time ago, but I am still a huge Michaels fan.
Even as a kid I new that Michaels was going to be a big star, even when everyone hated him after throwing Jannetty in that barber shop window I was still a big Michaels mark until this day.
My Hulkamania time is a childhood sin ;-).
I grew up watching British wrestling and I loved Giant Haystacks. When my mate first introduced me to American wrestling it was the Saturday Nights Main Event where Macho Man turned on Hulk Hogan. But the first guy I loved was The Ultimate Warrior
Most likely Sting to say the least since I only watched WCW during the 90's.
As far as WWE goes i have to say Stone Cold. LOL no other wrestlers could give fingers like that and get asway with it. The Rock was awesome also. And of course Biker Taker.
