Re: Lance Storm
You clearly know nothing about wrestling. Lance Storm was a great wrestler. This is only because WWE told you he was boring. If he was a world champion like Benoit, people would remember him the way he deserved.

lol sharkboy and dualshock. Nice to know none of you know the difference between being a great in ring worker and a great entertainer. The best wrestlers are both good ring workers and good entertainers. Stop drinking that Hulk Hogan/Eric Bischoff kool-aid.

Re: Lance Storm
I liked him in WCW when he was the US champion and sticked the canadian flag on it. He was always a very good wrestler so OP I have no idea what you are talking about when yo say he sucked in the ring. Even Chris Jericho said it in his book that Storm was better than him in the wrestling school (the Harts one).
He didnt have much of a character though, but isnt that the case with the 80% of todays roster?

Numbers have to do how Vince became so rich and successful and how this business work. That's why guys like Austin, the Rock, Lesnar and Goldberg will always have a guaranteed spot on the PPV card even if they appear once in a year

Best wrestlers are both good ring workers and good entertainers. I actually agree but what has this comment to do in a Lance Storm thread because he's an awful entertainer. Stop drinking that Dean Malenko kool-aid

What has that got to do with how the business work? Vince is the one who makes money and that's why we will see over the top character in the main event instead of vanilla midget indy hacks in the future, at least in WWE

I don't know why people remember Dean Malenko as boring. The intense 'iceman' character was pretty over when he was in WCW. And, like, those foul cretins in the ECW arena ate him up with a spoon. So he couldn't have been that boring.
I like Lance Storm. He's actually pretty funny, if you appreciate dry humor and are into different varieties of funny than broad slapstick comedy. And, of course, his wrestling was smoother than -- a very smooth thing.

. . .that's why Vince is a Daniel Bryan guy, and HHH is high on Ambrose & Rollins, right?

I think when people talk about Malenko it's not always because he's the most boring wrestler of all time (one of the boring but not the most boring), it think it's because he's the pioneer of the IWC heroes. he put on solid matches, won even multiple Wrestling Observer awards but the spotlight was on Hogan, Nash and the rest of the nWo. Malenko was probably part of the first argument ever in a wrestling forum between sports entertainer fans and vanilla midget marks, that's why the name Malenko is used very often in those discussions

Vince is now a Daniel Bryan guy after he changed from a Indy God and a legit athlete with the ruthless agression who loves to choke out people, kick their heads in and has 'til 5 into a funny tag team wrestler stuck in the midcard with the goat beard who acts in anger management skits.
I heard only that Triple H is a fan of Roman Reigns. But even if he likes Rollins and Ambrose, he likes also Damien Sandow and he's still not pushed like a Triple H guy is supposed to be. Only because if he likes somebody doesn't mean that this guy will headline PPVs
