May I be the one reminding you that WWF was close to go out of business when WCW was on top, you don't take business decisions that involve a lot of money because competition is "fun" or good for the product.
Vince stopped giving a shit about the so called product, years ago. It's all about the money and advertising TNA is a dumb move.

WCW got cocky and look at them now... well, you don't.
Yes, the WWE DOES need it. They have no fucking competition so they don't try hard to make wrestling even remotely good.

Remember how great wrestling was in the WWF/WCW days? Both companies had a reason to up the other one. They both wanted to be #1. TNA sucks fucking ass, the WWE laughs at them because they will never be as big as the WWE at this point in time. WCW was a threat. The writers had to do their best to make the show more entertaining than WCW.

When you're in first place and have no one behind you to threaten your position, you get laid back and don't try as hard.

They have no fucking competition because most wrestling fans live in a bubble where the attitude era is still going and TNA/indies "sucks fucking ass" because they aren't as big as WWE.

Vince isn't young anymore and unlike the 90's there's no demand for product quality in wrestling.
It's mainly a nostalgia business right now, as long vince can put 100 commercials on RAW and still get away with it... he will do it without mercy. That's why you don't want another game in town that can steal your deals.

There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

its just something I would like to see happen, I know it never will but heck, a guy can dream cant he?
It's the last thing WWE wants because the truth is that there are several wrestlers in TNA right now that are better in the ring than anybody on the WWE roster besides Daniel Bryan. In a crossover the TNA guys would demonstrate just how bad the current WWE roster is in comparison to a wide audience that currently does not know much about TNA.

Doubtful that the majority of wrestling fans even know or care what TNA is.

I'd mark for some AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho. Lets not forget Roode vs HHH, Angle vs Lesnar, and I'll bet money they would book Hogan vs Cena.
But of course, butthurts are gonna bitch about TNA sucking from watching or hearing about an episode from 2010. Threads getting closed.
