I'd at the very least say Bruno Sammartino was the face of an era (whether you want to call that the Golden Age or not) before the Rock 'n' Wrestling Era of Hogan, which you don't mention.

This would actually make a pretty good storyline. Say he actually beats Brock at WM30 and the next night on RAW, He starts flapping his gums about how he beat all 4 top guys of all 4 eras. HBK comes out and rushes to the ring, Rock goes for a right hand but to no avail and gets a SCM for his effort. HBK picks up the mic and says "You forgot one era, New Gen"

This now sets up a match between the two at WM31 but come to think about it. WM31 should be about the new blood of WWE, Part-timers last involvement (match-wise anyway) should be at WM30. WM31 should be all about the new blood of WWE, They should be in the main-events and the event should be based around them.

I love for Taker vs Brock to happen but if Taker is retiring at WM 30,it should be UNDERTAKER VS JOHN CENA.

As long as this match happens,I don't care if Rock/Brock are on the card or Steve makes a comeback or NWO gets inducted to Hall of Fame.
