For those who don't know WWE once had a theme restaurant located in Time Square, New York. It was a frequent feature on WWE programming from around the end of 1999 to when the restaurant closed in 2002 (also where they filmed Heat starting in 2000 and the first season of Tough Enough). The segments usually featured a mid-card wrestler like Raven or Billy Gunn who was at the restaurant for the night and did live segments as well as interacted with the fans there. Raven even did a stint behind the bar making drinks for people.
One of my only regrets as a Wrestling fan is not going there at least once before it closed. They had a full on gift shop that any wrestling fan would mark out for and also had some cool historical pieces displayed like Miss Elizabeth's Wedding dress and Andre The Giant's Hand prints. Just seemed like a really good time, especially because it was during the attitude era and wrestling/WWF were red hot!
Anyone have a first hand story? I hear the off nights weren't good but if you went on a night WWF had programming scheduled (RAW, SD, PPV, Heat) it was a great time. WCW Nitro Grill included although I'm sure way less people have been there because it was located in some Casino in Vegas. Never got my damn Hogan Burger or Booker T-Bone!
