For those saying WWEs popularity was declining cause some house shows only got like 3,000 people, I think it's safe to say that the only reason that's the case, is cause WWE is looking in the wrong cities.

Here are pics from WWEs house show today from Toronto! This show drew a record setting crowd for Ricoh Coliseum(arena for the AHL hockey team Toronto Marlies along with other events such as past WWE house shows and even TNA). The previous record was.....OVER 9,000 fans, so WWEs is at least 10,000.

And people wonder why crowds in WWE suck...cause WWE doesn't visit places like this(Toronto last held a TV event in 2010,and last held a PPV in 2006). I'm actually surprised so many people turned out, especially considering how much UFC has become the big thing in Canada over WWE now(especially since WWE rarely visits Canada while UFC has multiple PPVs per year)

Even John Cena(who gets booed in Toronto basically every time he's here) actually got big cheers(it wasn't cause of the whole "WWE is PG/Little Kids" argument either)

WWE always gets good crowds in Canada because they rarely go there. It's the same case in other countries too. Abscence makes the heart grow fonder.

I never understand why wwe doesn't have more raws/ppvs in Toronto. Always enjoyed their crowds

Kinda surprising, but in some ways, not really. They don't go to Canada that often anymore, and Torontonians are the educated smark audience, their hardcore base, and Undertaker showing up at a house show the other night is going to put a huge resurgence on house shows for the next several weeks. House shows from now until WrestleMania are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

Yeah, Arda Ocal tweeted out for tonight "10,279 people here tonight. Ricoh Coliseum attendance record. I'm calling it - TV event in Toronto in fall. Say Septemer. #wwetoronto"

Also from what I can see on twitter, appears the match of the card was CM Punk vs. Kofi Kingston. That seems to be getting very good reviews.

They're probably afraid of the smarks booing Cena and other superheroes like Sheamus out of the building

Cena gets booed in half the arenas they visit anyway.

Canada usually has good crowds.

The house shows only visit mid sized cities. Toronto is a large market, so attracting a larger audience should be expected.

Whether the WWE goes there often or not, should not really be an excuse for a crowd being crappy. i mean, people pay for the tickets because they are huge fans. it is what they love, and what they were willing to pay and see. it should be just as exciting for them as any other fan, just as exciting as it is for a fan who barely sees it live. Besides, it's not like the places that DO get wwe shows, get them that often anyway. and i doubt the fans themselves that are in these places, are always the same fans attending.

crap excuse for crappy crowds.
