Re: Best HEEL ever?

Come on, admit it. You don't like Triple H. And it makes him the GOAT heel.

I lost respects because of Miz on my avatar.

Re: Best HEEL ever?

Only saw a few mentions for Orton. No doubt Triple H had a better heel run, but Randy's work could easily be #2

Jericho 2008 - This heel run of Jericho was just awsome. I who love the guy almost at times wanted to boo.
Vickie - Dat voice. Every time she opens her ugly mouth I just wanna punch her.
Piper - One of the most legendary heels in the company. He said and did whatever the fck he wanted. The Snuka Banana incident is just pure awsome.
Ted Dibiase Sr - At that time this gimmick worked and they used it right. He paid people to do everything just because he could.
This reminded me of that promo where Ted paid some guy who worked at the public pool like 200 bucks to kick all the kids out of the pool so he could just lie beside it while Virgil fanned him. So funny yet so heel-like.

Re: Best HEEL ever?

The correct answer is Vince McMahon. In 1998-1999, each week he had an entire arena calling him an "AAAASSSHHHHOOOOLLLLEEE ... AAASSSSHHHHOOOOLLLEEEE!"

If you mean actual wrestlers though, I pick Edge 2006-2008. His work with Lita + Vickie were top-notch. I loved his feuds with Undertaker and Cena.

Re: Best HEEL ever?

The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase is probably the greatest but the one who really worked on me as a kid was Mr Perfect. Man, I hated his arrogance so much

That is completely unacceptable as a heel, especially one where many newer fans today call the GOAT Heel.

Piper - death threats
HHH - face pops

Difference between night and day.

This is why Hassan wasn't on my list. I liked the guy and his gimmick generated real heat for a time, but although Copani did a good job with the character it was the specific gimmick drew the incredible heat he got. Guys like Piper and HHH only had to open their mouth to get their asses booed out of the building. Didn't matter what they said or how they were dressed people hated them during their top heel periods.

Different era's, Piper in HHH's era would've got cheered eventually as well. Only reason HHH started to get face pops was because he'd done such a good job as a heel in 2000 that the fans had started to respect him. By the time he faced Undertaker at WM17, he was already a legend in the business.
