The main reason I rate Shawn as Mr Wrestlemania and not the Undertaker is because of WM9 and that abomination of a match the Deadman had with Giant Gonzalez. Sure some of the other Taker matches were not great either but that one absolutely stank and it will forever tarnish slightly his WM legacy.

The Undertaker and the streak is the one constant we can all rely on every year at the big one. And quite often he brings out a match to match the event. There's the thing, Taker suffered from his gimmick big time early on, the way he was booked, how Vince saw the WWF at that time, he was finally given the opportunity to evolve around 1996 before/when Mankind was born...

Better overall matches than Michaels...due to longevity? WHAT?

Did we choose to forget the classics like Undertaker versus Psycho Sid, Giant Gonzales, Big Boss Man and King Kong Bundy? Taker has had a lot of garbage matches at Mania, bro. The fact that he has had a lot of matches doesn't make them good or raise the "overall" quality of any of them.

Yeah even though i'm not the hugest Shawn Michaels mark, its indisputable at this point anyone else has a better Wrestlemania resume than him. I'd say Cena is the only active person even close.

You cannot compare Taker with HBK lol, not in anything, they are completly different. In terms of Mania matches, like i have said, Taker's gimmick held him back early on, not his fault, he was booked to be a certain characther.
