Re: Grading Cena As A Performer

From a technical standpoint, Cena is one of the worse I've ever seen because he's so uncoordinated and his moves look so ugly because of it. As an in ring performer he's simply awesome. I'd give him an 8.5 out of 10. If he sold a little more I might be inclined to give him a 9.

Re: Grading Cena As A Performer

His wrestling ability depends on who is in the ring with him. He has great chemistry with Punk but if Cena is calling a match, forget it! Dogshit!

Mic skills, I always thought he was horrible from day one

CENA doesn't give his all because he's wrestling not to get injured. Just like Hogan wrestled not to get injured. Was Austin a great wrestler after his neck injury?

Re: Grading Cena As A Performer

I think his mic skills leave a lot to be desired now, but they werent always that way. I remember when he used to actually insult other wrestlers on the mic, and he had some great zinger. My all time favorite was simply, "Lita's a slut!" lol

Re: Grading Cena As A Performer

The thing is Cena has had good matches with subpar workers: Lashley, Khali. Arguments could be made for JBL & Umaga.

On a serious note, i'd say on a good day 7/10 for mic skills on a bad 2/10

wrestling skills is harder to judge but on his best day the most I could give him would be a 6 (he's no Eddie, or Angle or Benoit for sure) on his worst when he doesn't even try? A 2 at most.
