tbh I've never seen such a vocal minority bitch about a wrestler; even more than hHH's heel run in 2002-2003 (iwc bitched then now I see some praising it; go figure).

ANYONE who gets a huge push and has the most spotlight will have outspoken attack from a segment of the audience. That's just my take on it. Think about how many fans they actually do have compared to the haters. The fans speak by putting their money down and tuning in and many of the haters speak with posts on the Internet.

Punk/Cena fans hate the Rock for obvious reasons.Some(especially PG era fans)can't bear the fact that he despite not being a part of WWE for 7 years is still the most talented guy on the rooster.Rock holding back against Cena last year fools some to think that he isn't talented or great as he is considered and now him cutting better promos than everybody including Punk ignites their jealousy.
Some Austin fans who hated the Rock in the AE will continue to hate him forever.

I think so, Rock committed the ultimate heel turn to the IWC by taking the title off CM Punk, it left a huge emotional scar to the Punk marks, one that they'll never get over with

100 % this. A few years ago punk was fucking LOVED by everyone..... Now his haters have gone up tremendously in the iwc.

Is this a joke? People don't enjoy his work right now. It doesn't mean people now hate him, and certainly not on the level of guys like Cena and HHH at their peak (in Cena's case, right now). Hell, it's not even on or anywhere near the level of CM Punk back in 2012.
