Greatest World Heavyweight Championship Reign?

What do you think was the greatest reign, matches wise and entertainment wise

For me its a cross between Benoit 2004 and Undertaker 2010,

Can't remember all of them so just say if i have left you're one out

Randy Orton's 2007-2008 title reign was great for me. Orton was just an incredible heel. I remember when he'd go after his opponent's family and shit.

Re: Greatest World Heavyweight Championship Reign?

Chris Benoit in 2004 is definitely one that comes to mind for me. Match quality was top notch and it lasted 5 months. Everything else has been either too short (Jericho, Edge, Orton, Undertaker) or boring (Triple H). And in some cases, terrible booking ruined it (Rey Mysterio).

Re: Greatest World Heavyweight Championship Reign?

Henrys and Bryans have been the greatest of the past five years. The rest I dont remember good enough to talk about.

Imo Edge deserved way better/longer world title reigns. So I honestly don't know. Maybe taker 2010?

Top 10 all time favorites:

Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Undertaker
Shawn Michaels
Chris Jericho
Brock Lesnar
Kurt Angle
HHH
Edge
CM Punk
Kane (98-04)

Re: Greatest World Heavyweight Championship Reign?

Wow, so many short title reigns outside of Triple H's reign. None of them stick out as great to me. Shame, really.

Re: Greatest World Heavyweight Championship Reign?

Changed vote to Angle, due to his matches with Orton and Mysterio, Bringing out the best in Henry, His overall intensity, and his superb match with undertaker at NWO 2006, Really brought smackdown out of the terrible super-batista booking from 2005
