Dude also carried Hogan to some of the best matches he had in the late 80s and early 90s at MSG house shows. Also love when he and Hogan were the final two at Royal Rumble '90, too. Fun stuff. He made Hogan look great.

I mean, I know he was never WWF champ.....but neither were a lot of guys back then. Perfect, Dibiase, Piper, Razor, Rude, Roberts, etc....there's no way you can say guys like that didn't have a "major impact" though, as they were some of the biggest stars in the company. Different era. Hardly anybody won the belt. Now a lot of guys have already had title reigns that HAVEN'T had a major impact yet(ADR, Miz, Ziggler, Swagger).

But Perfect definitely had a major impact and was one of the top 2nd tier guys(Hogan-Savage-Warrior was the top tier) in the late 80's-early 90's.

Perfect doesn't belong with that group or in this thread, in my opinion. He feuded with Hogan(the #1 face at the time), feuded with Flair(the #1 heel at the time), feuded/teamed with Savage(the #1 face at the time).

If you were often working with the top guys in the top angles at several different points in your career......you had a major impact. Perfect's role then was kind of like what Jericho's has been....generally an upper mid carder but can slide into the main event at times too. It's just that things moved WAY slower back then so nobody has as many different feuds and "accomplishments" as the guys of the newer eras(attitude era to now), and Perfect's run didn't last as long as Jericho's(due to health).

Owen is arguable....his angle with Bret was major and lasted awhile, but it's the only thing he did on that level. The other guys are good examples.

I guess my point is, Perfect doesn't belong and was clearly above the rest of those types of guys.

Mr. Kennedy. I loved this guy back in 07. I was more high on him than I was on cm punk.

Scott Hall too I guess, but he was pretty big.
