Undertaker should retire after this wrestlemaina... and introduce a son
Undertaker is one of my favorite wrestlers, and I think his legacy should be carried on through a son... of course im not talking about the skinny red headed kid that he has, but can you imagine the creative team putting that together?!?! Think about it the night after wrestlemaina undertaker comes out and says im done! but I have someone to carry on my legacy, the lights go out and when they come back on you have a 7 foot 300 plus pound monster of a man standing in the ring. He is introduced as the undertakers son. Just a thought.. leave a comment.

I think he should retire at WM 35.

Re: Undertaker should retire after this wrestlemaina... and introduce a son
I love the Undertaker's gimmick and I would love for it to carry on.
However, I don't think anyone can play the gimmick as well as Mark Calaway. He has been incredible with the gimmick and I don't think anyone else could possibly hope to live up to that standard he has set.
Not only has Taker got the character, but the in ring work would be next to impossible to match. The big men of today like Brodus Clay, are decent, but they are nowhere near as good as Taker. So the in ring work of whoever got the gimmick next would hurt the gimmick overall I believe.
So as much as I would love to see the gimmick continue, I think Undertaker should retire alongside Mark Calaway. It's only fitting.

Re: Undertaker should retire after this wrestlemaina... and introduce a son
Undertaker was doing interviews 10 years ago answering when he will retire, and saying that he doesn't want to be one of those guys who hangs on too long. Well, guess what Taker, you've already done that. Wrestling once or twice a year is detrimental to the young talent that isn't getting a chance at WM, because Taker and his opponent have to take up 45 minutes (including entrances, promo videos, etc.).
Yes, he should retire.

Kane is definitely one of the best big men in the business ever. I was meaning the newer big men of wrestling.
Kane could probably play Undertaker's character, but he's already got his character. Plus, I'm talking about someone who would carry the gimmick in the future, and I don't see Kane remaining in WWE as a competitor in the next 5 or so years.

Re: Undertaker should retire after this wrestlemaina... and introduce a son
I can't see it working. It'll always seem like an inferior version of a classic gimmick and I doubt it would ever truly get over. Remember the fake Razor Ramon and Diesel gimmicks? Yeah...
I don't think Taker should retire yet, if he can still go let him go. He's one of the few guys we can count on to continue putting on highlight matches at WM every year. Besides, he didn't retire at a nice round number like 20, right now he's got no option but to go all the way to 25.

WWE can always bring in dark/gothic characters. Horror angles/gimmicks draw if done right & Im sure with the success of Kane & Undertaker, we have not seen the last of those type of characters.
Undertaker should work with a group like the Ascension.

What a stupid idea. Are you already employed by wwe creative? Seems to be right up their alley.
